On the

arches. You just can’t see the rest of the circle due to the curvature of the
earth!
The full
circle of a rainbow is best seen from an airplane, high above the ground.
Only a bit
of moisture and a splash of sunlight are needed to form a rainbow. You might
see one in the dew on a leaf at daybreak

under a brilliant moon

ever seen an upside down rainbow? When light reflects through ice crystals it
is called a called Sun smile
