Dewdrops and Sun Smiles

Hello, Friends!

On the off-chance that no one found a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, it’s not the fault of the Leprechauns. It is because rainbows are actually circles, not arches. You just can’t see the rest of the circle due to the curvature of the earth!

The full circle of a rainbow is best seen from an airplane, high above the ground.

Only a bit of moisture and a splash of sunlight are needed to form a rainbow. You might see one in the dew on a leaf at daybreak

Or at night under a brilliant moon

Have you ever seen an upside down rainbow? When light reflects through ice crystals it is called a called Sun smile

Can you look at a rainbow without smiling?
